Charles (CJ) Pierce broke the u90 (198lb) axle clean and press record this weekend on 11/06 at Eleos Record Breakers in Mesa, AZ with a successful lift of 167kg/368.235lbs. Charles weighed in at 197.7 lbs and was judged by USS President Willie Wessells. The event was also monitored and attended by Julia Smay (USS AZ State Chair) and Anthony Fuhrman. The bar in the video below is a 35kg 2″ bar and we used calibrated IWF approved KG plates. The reds are 25kg each, blues 20kg, yellows 15kg, larger whites 5kg and the smallest plates on the outside are 1kg plates for a total weight of 167kg.
