Hafthor Bjornsson Wins Europes Strongest Man for the fourth time

Hafthor continues to look unstoppable in 2018 after winning the Arnold Classic he set a new Icelandic record in the log press at 213kg/468.6lbs and won the deadlift for reps on his way to his fourth Europes Strongest Man title in the past five years.

Hafthor took first place in the first event the log press hitting 213kg. Eddie Hall & Iron Bibby also hit 213kg as guest lifters (just competing in the log portion) then skipped 220kg and both failed on 230 which would have been a world record.

Konstantine Janashia stayed right behind Thor and was able to hold onto second place with Zydrunas Savickas being in third for most of the contest. Despite zeroing the log press and taking 9th in the deadlift Matuesz Kieliszkowski won the final three events to take Big Z off the podium and secure third overall.
