The excitement for the first event in the Manchester arena was real and the first event was full of fantastic performances and plot twists, Zydrunas Savickas looked like his old self and won the event of 150kg/330lbs with 8 reps. Eddie Hall struggled with the clean at first and looked a bit sick, he managed two reps before withdrawing from the contest saying he has felt sick all week.
Right behind Zydrunas was Robert Oberst with 7 which the most underrated Strongman in the world J.F Caron tied that for a joint 2nd while Shahlaei, Biby, & Janashia got 6 reps for a joint third.
