The Athletes Travel To Worlds Strongest Man

At the start of this week the 30 strongest and biggest men in the world are all traveling to the Philippines for Worlds Strongest Man. From following the various athletes on social media it seems like there are some brutal flights with 4+ flight changes and day long layovers though most seem to be benefiting from business class seats lets take a look at how this over looked part of the contest is going for the athletes and their messages before they take off.

Starting my journey to the Philippines and my 10th Worlds strongest man appearance. I was proud to do 1 so to hit 10 a huge achievement. 7 weeks ago I wasn’t sure I would be going. In November I slipped a disk in my back and 7 weeks ago I had a small tear in my quad. Prep hasn’t been perfect but I feel strong and I’m looking forward to another battle. On this LONGGGGGGG flight to Taiwan and I wanted to thank everyone who’s been behind me. I’m so incredibly blessed by the people who are around me. The people who value me and the people who keep me strong. I put in a lot of work and I’ve sacrificed more than I ever dreamed to be here right now but it wouldn’t be possible without you. Today I fly out to achieve a goal and a dream. I have been chasing this dream for a few years now.
