Derek Poundstone Returns to Strongman

News has came out today that Derek Poundstone will be replacing Jerry Pritchett on Team USA at the Ultimate Strongman Team World Championships after Jerry tore his bicep competing at the Arnold South Africa. 4 years off of competing Derek will be teaming up with Martins Licis to represent Team USA.

In a fast-paced 2-man team format, stars include our Ultimate Strongman World Champion Laurence Shahlaei ,Cheick Sanou ,Terry Hollands, Martin Licis, Derek Poundstone, Tom Stoltman and Mark Felix.

We heard that others were asked or considered including Robert Oberst & Mike Burke. Julian Howard mentioned to try Derek Poundstone and the former Arnold Classic winner was up for the challenge!
