Brian Shaw Wins 4th World’s Strongest Man Title

Brian Shaw the clear favorite for the World’s Strongest Man 2016 title was in the lead by 3 points over Hafthor Bjornsson of Iceland going into the Atlas Stones. Bjornsson won the Atlas Stones but Shaw did what he needed to do to get his first repeat title and took 2nd in the atlas stones. Eddie Hall took third to jump past Konstantine Janashia of Georgia to get third place and his first podium finish.

4 World’s Strongest Man titles puts Shaw at second most all time tied with Zydrunas Savickas, Magnús Ver Magnusson & Jón Páll Sigmarsson it also makes him the most winning American Strongman of all time passing Bill Kazmaier who had 3 titles.

This is Eddie Hall’s first podium finish in World’s Strongest Man & the 5th straight podium performance for Hafthor Bjornsson
